-Outside chairs are also not allowed in the BCEC. We have about 70 spectator chairs per court provided.

There will NOT be any tie-breaking games played for the Junior Girls 12-17’s and 18 Club divisions or the Boys Divisions as we guarantee 5 to 7 matches to each team in this event, depending on the division. In the case of a tie, the teams will be ranked by head-to-head result (in case of a 2-way tie), or, for 3-way or larger ties, set percentage, and then, if necessary, point percentage.
Cool Pocket Guide provided by the Housing Authority:
At this year’s event we will have a sitting court near in the center of Hall B near the BC Skybridge. Teams and spectators are welcome to “try their luck” and compete against some of our Paralympic athletes from Rio who will be on site at the event! The sitting court is sponsored by the Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke, MA.
We have athletic trainers scheduled during match play at all times to take care of minor injuries and supply ice. Athletes will need to bring their own tape and pre-wrap if they need an ankle or other body part taped before a match.
Good luck and have fun BOOMers!!
